Principal Technical SEO Specialist (iGaming)

Location: St Julians, Malta; full-time remote

What you will do

• Co-own the portfolio-wide technical SEO strategy, roadmap, and standards for the Gaming portfolio while supporting Sports.
• Lead investigations across crawling, rendering, indexation, architecture, internal linking, international SEO, migrations, structured data, and web performance.
• Partner with Product and Engineering on architecture, releases, migrations, and experimentation.
• Build automated monitoring, diagnostics, and early-warning systems for material technical issues.
• Develop internal tools and AI-enabled workflows for SEO analysis, quality assurance, prioritisation, and execution.
• Create reusable technical patterns and frameworks while coaching teams through documentation and shared tooling.

Requirements

• Demonstrated technical SEO impact at scale across large websites or multi-domain portfolios, with measurable organic or commercial outcomes.
• Expertise in crawling, rendering, indexation, architecture, internal linking, canonicalisation, international SEO, migrations, structured data, JavaScript SEO, log-file analysis, and web performance.
• Hands-on coding experience and the ability to build and deploy tools, diagnostics, monitoring, or automated workflows using APIs and large datasets.
• Strong commercial and strategic judgement, connecting technical decisions with organic and commercial outcomes.
• Experience influencing Product, Engineering, and senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Technical self-sufficiency and willingness to remain hands-on while creating scalable systems and standards.

• 90-minute case presentation and Principal peer interview, including a technical SEO assessment prepared in advance.
