🔐 Bitcoin Protocol Backend Engineer
Looking for someone with real, production-grade Bitcoin protocol depth — not just crypto-adjacent experience — to own our institutional Bitcoin wallet infrastructure.
Location: EU, Serbia, Georgia
You'll be doing:
🔹 Architecting & managing institutional-scale Bitcoin wallet infra and UTXO sets
🔹 Building and finalizing complex multisig transactions (PSBT, SegWit)
🔹 Fee estimation, RBF, CPFP — full transaction lifecycle remediation
🔹 Scaling core backend services in Java / Spring Boot / SQL
Must have:
✅ 3+ years production Bitcoin protocol experience (institutional scale)
✅ Java, Spring Boot, SQL
✅ TDD/BDD, DDD, monorepo experience
✅ Deep Bitcoin knowledge: UTXO, SegWit, PSBT (BIP-174), script/descriptors
✅ Multisig: BIP-48, BIP-67, P2WSH, PSBT workflows
✅ BIP-143 sighash, DER encoding, low-S enforcement
✅ BIP-84 HD wallets, gap limits, descriptor-based discovery
✅ Mempool tracking, dust limits, RBF/CPFP, double-spend detection
