Vice President - Sector and Specialised Lending Transaction Management

What you will do

• Support lending origination for large Australian corporations and Australian subsidiaries of ING clients based in Asia, Europe, or the US.
• Prepare credit proposals and manage approval processes for lending, project finance, trade finance, and financial market limits.
• Negotiate loan and trade finance documentation with clients in collaboration with coverage, risk, and legal teams.
• Monitor portfolio company performance, identify early warning signals, and conduct annual credit reviews.
• Support deal structuring, origination, and business development for lending products.
• Develop lending solutions, communicate them effectively, and contribute to sustainability goals and active balance sheet management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant deal support or deal-making and credit analysis experience in banking.
• Industry expertise in telecommunications and healthcare, real estate, energy, or infrastructure.
• Experience with syndicated loans, club deals, and bilateral transactions.
• University degree in business, economics, law, or a related discipline.
• Strong financial and credit analysis skills, attention to detail, and presentation skills.
• Proven client focus, stakeholder management, negotiation, relationship management, and sales skills.
