Security Governance Specialist (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid working with an option to work remotely and from abroad for up to 10 days per year

What you will do

• Develop and evaluate security compliance programs and processes to mitigate cybersecurity risks and protect company assets and information.
• Maintain information security policies, processes, controls, reporting, planning, and remediation tracking.
• Research laws, regulations, industry standards, and customer or vendor contracts to define and communicate compliance requirements.
• Conduct information security risk assessments, security compliance audits, and cybersecurity audits.
• Partner with business leaders to review risk findings and implement remediation solutions.
• Support ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 practices, security awareness programs, and customer security questionnaire responses.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in information security, IT risk management, IT governance, or IT audit.
• Experience implementing, supporting, or auditing ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 compliance.
• Experience managing SOC 2 reports.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively.
• Strong documentation, policy, procedure, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Motivated, team-oriented approach with expertise in IT general controls and information security policies and standards.
