Regional Data Centre Director (Southeast Asia)

What you will do

• Oversee operation, maintenance, repair, availability, and compliance for mission-critical systems supporting 24x7 data centre operations.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and coordinate emergency responses, resources, customer communications, root cause analysis, and post-event remediation.
• Manage customer relationships and contractual performance of facilities management, smart hands, security, and other third-party vendors.
• Lead audits of operating procedures, sequences of operations, maintenance standards, change management, and Method of Procedure documentation.
• Maintain compliance with security programs, ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, and local environmental, building, fire, electrical, hydraulic, and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Oversee CAPEX/OPEX budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, operational reporting, and efficiency improvement business cases.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in a critical facilities environment.
• At least 5 years of direct employee management experience.
• Experience with procurement, contract negotiation, CAPEX/OPEX budgets, variance analysis, and operational metrics.
• Ability to prepare and review Method of Procedure documents, incident reports, emergency event summaries, root cause analysis reports, budget forecasts, and O&M manuals.
• Experience managing customer portals, building management systems, and computerized maintenance management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and Visio, with strong leadership, communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
