Customer Engineer IV-ETCH (Etch)

Location: Xi'an, China; on-site customer and clean-room work required

What you will do

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and service customer semiconductor equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex issues using digital analytics, diagnostic tools, documentation, and task plans.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Communicate with customers and internal business units and lead projects or customer meetings as needed.
• Train and mentor junior Field Service Engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 7–10 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment-support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude covering pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Advanced knowledge of wafer-processing parameters and strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters.
• Fluent Korean is required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet all on-site safety and environmental requirements.
