Cyber Security Consultant (Critical Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Deliver cyber security advisory, risk, compliance, and assurance services for major infrastructure and critical asset environments.
• Support cyber security outcomes across a large-scale transport infrastructure project throughout its lifecycle.
• Conduct cyber security risk assessments, threat modelling exercises, and security reviews.
• Provide secure-by-design and security architecture guidance across enterprise, cloud, hybrid, and operational technology environments.
• Assess compliance with Essential Eight, ISM, PSPF, ISO 27001, NIST, and critical infrastructure obligations.
• Develop recommendations, remediation plans, assurance reports, and security roadmaps while engaging technical and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience delivering cyber security consulting, advisory, risk, compliance, or assurance services.
• Knowledge of cyber security frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience conducting cyber security risk assessments and developing risk treatment strategies.
• Understanding of security architecture principles and secure-by-design approaches.
• Ability to analyse complex problems and communicate security concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in critical infrastructure, transport, utilities, government, Defence, operational technology, or complex technology environments.
