Full Stack Software Developer (Python/Vue.js)

Location: Lomazzo (Como), Italy, with a hybrid work policy allowing up to 2 remote working days per week

Salary: €35,000–€40,000 gross annual salary

Leaf Space is a rapidly growing scale-up providing ground segment as-a-service solutions for satellite and launch vehicle connectivity, supporting applications including remote sensing and IoT communications.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and test features and RESTful APIs for the Leaf Business customer portal and billing platform.
• Develop backend services, business logic, commercial-system integrations, and Vue.js frontend applications.
• Own the full feature lifecycle from requirements definition through deployment and delivery.
• Integrate third-party services and internal systems through APIs and microservices.
• Troubleshoot bugs and performance issues, improve system reliability, and maintain technical documentation.
• Use GitLab for version control and code reviews while contributing to CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional full-stack development experience with a strong backend focus.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with experience in Vue.js or a similar frontend framework.
• Solid understanding of API design, system integration, and microservices architectures.
• Experience with Docker, containerized applications, CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud environments such as GCP.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work autonomously, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, communicate technical concepts clearly, and drive continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience in the telecommunications sector.
• UI/UX design skills.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
• Experience integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
