TL;DR
Fullstack Software Engineer (TypeScript/Node.js): Building and maintaining mission-critical microservices for a POS ecosystem, including APIs, databases, billing, and integrations, with an accent on clean code, testing, and observability. Focus on designing REST APIs, improving distributed systems, integrating cloud infrastructure, and delivering medium-sized features through release.
Location: Prague, Czechia; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do
- Build, maintain, refactor, and deprecate software components for the POS ecosystem.
- Develop mission-critical microservices, APIs, databases, billing features, and integrations.
- Write clean, secure, testable code and create tools that scale product effectiveness.
- Improve observability through logging, metrics, debugging, and related tooling.
- Own medium-sized initiatives from technical refinement through release.
- Participate in code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, releases, and on-call rotations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, including error handling and caching.
- Experience with NoSQL and relational databases, including MongoDB and MariaDB.
- Basic experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, or Heroku.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests, using Git workflows, and working with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.
- Fluent written and spoken English required; office attendance in Prague at least 3 days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Cursor.
- Familiarity with PHP, Vue.js, or Android Kotlin environments.
