Senior Software Engineer Production Support (AI)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two remote days per week.

Salary: Kč1,480,000–Kč1,700,000 per year.

What you will do

• Investigate and resolve critical functional and performance issues across the core platform.
• Implement features, tooling, and performance improvements that prevent recurring production issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and customer support teams to diagnose and resolve complex problems.
• Design and use AI agents to automate root cause analysis and streamline incident response.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building, maintaining, and debugging full-stack production software systems.
• Strong proficiency with Java, JavaScript, data pipelines, and web system architecture.
• Expertise with MySQL, Cassandra, and distributed systems, including eventual consistency, high availability, and failover.
• Ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases, context-switch quickly, and deploy fixes safely.
• Strong focus on test-driven development, automation, and code quality.

Nice to have

• Backend development experience with Python or PHP.
• Knowledge of financial markets, exchange protocols, FIX, or low-latency networking.
• Experience with modern C++, containerized services in AWS, or React.
