IBP Supply Planning Data Scientist (Supply Planning)

hirify.global is expanding enterprise planning capabilities through global demand and supply planning teams and a centralized Planning Excellence Team as part of its IBP transformation.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain advanced inventory and supply planning models, including safety stock, segmentation, variability-based rules, and reorder logic.
• Refresh portfolio inventory targets and align them with service expectations, demand patterns, and supply constraints.
• Monitor and tune lead times, variability, cycle stock inputs, yield factors, and other critical planning parameters.
• Analyze inventory health, shortages, excess inventory, inventory age, target adherence, and replenishment performance.
• Create dashboards, KPIs, scenario models, coverage calculators, and early warning indicators for supply planners and S&OE/S&OP processes.
• Support supply capability modeling, including RCCP, constraints, capacity, yield, and throughput assumptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Typically at least 8 years of experience in data science or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Spotfire, or similar data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in commercial supply planning and forecasting.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of advanced machine learning techniques and frameworks.
