Tools Engineer (AI)

Location: Armenia, remote; part-time contract, 10–20 hours per week, with required responsiveness from 12:00–18:00 CET.

Salary: $28–$32 per hour, based on 10–20 hours per week.

What you will do

• Build and maintain automations for TargetProcess, including workflow rules and integrations with internal systems.
• Design and ship Slack and Telegram bots for task creation, notifications, and routine requests.
• Automate operational workflows such as duty announcements, absence notices, and reminders.
• Build AI-powered assistants and agents that help employees find information and complete routine tasks.
• Develop lightweight internal applications for company events and culture.
• Document shipped solutions so they remain maintainable and extensible.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including automation, bot development, and process automation.
• Fullstack capability with a clear backend bias and strong JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js skills.
• Experience with React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, or a similar frontend framework.
• Experience with serverless platforms and relational or non-relational databases such as MongoDB, ClickHouse, or PostgreSQL.
• Practical experience with Slack or Telegram bots, third-party API integrations, and OpenAI or LLM APIs.
• English sufficient for daily written and verbal communication and availability during 12:00–18:00 CET are required.

Nice to have

• Experience building RAG pipelines or agent-based systems.
