Web Developer (Fullstack)

Location: Albany, New York, United States; onsite with hybrid eligibility after approximately 3–6 months. The selected candidate must live within a reasonable commuting distance and reside in or be willing to relocate to New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts before hire.

What you will do

• Create and maintain functional dynamic web applications based on defined specifications.
• Work with internal customers to tailor application pages and functionality.
• Contribute across the full application life cycle, including design, coding, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Develop additional website sections and features.
• Comply with grant-related time and effort reporting, deliverables, and contract requirements.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus three years of relevant website design, development, and maintenance experience; equivalent education and experience combinations are accepted.
• Proficiency in full-stack development with C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Razor, ADO.NET, jQuery, Vue.js, Angular, and AJAX.
• Understanding of MVC and client-server architectural patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Visual Studio, and ActiveReports.
• Valid, unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
