Senior Software Developer (Angular/Java)

Location: Hybrid work in Southlake, Texas or Austin, Texas

Salary: USD $57.69–$65.38 per hour, plus potential bonus or incentive opportunities

What you will do

• Build scalable, resilient software solutions across the Sales and Service Technology portfolio.
• Develop Angular user interfaces integrated with Java-based backend services.
• Apply micro-frontend, microservices, design system, performance, accessibility, observability, and testing practices.
• Participate in solution design, implementation, testing, release, and production support across the full software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, SRE, technology partners, and distributed engineering teams.
• Support cross-team integration across distributed systems, shared services, and front-end experiences.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience, or relevant internship or academic projects, building applications with Java, Spring, and web services.
• At least 2 years of Angular front-end development experience, or experience with a similar TypeScript framework.
• Exposure to containers, microservices, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment workflows.
• Awareness of PCF, AWS, and/or GCP, plus basic knowledge of MongoDB, Redis, or SQL Server.
• Ability to collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, SRE, offshore partners, and external stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication, curiosity, and creative problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and unit or integration testing.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools, design patterns, TDD, QA automation, and quality-first engineering.
• Experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks, HTML, CSS/Sass, responsive design, and WCAG accessibility.
• Interest in financial services and web application performance optimization.
