Operator Continuous Markets (Power Trading)

What you will do

• Manage daily and weekend operational routines for the continuous European power market.
• Support trading and market coupling systems, including testing operational and customer-facing platforms.
• Improve business processes and help maintain robust operations in a complex technology environment.
• Contribute to the development of trading platforms, products, and services.
• Provide customer service during day-to-day market operations.
• Participate in development projects and a 24/7 rotational duty arrangement, including weekend and night shifts.

Requirements

• Higher education in IT, engineering, energy, or economics.
• Experience with IT tools such as Grafana for monitoring and support.
• Experience working in operations dependent on complex IT infrastructure.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodology.
• Excellent English and fluency in at least one Scandinavian language.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, service, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of Azure Cloud Technology, Apache Kafka, and MQ.
• Knowledge of the power market and interest in learning more.
