Maintenance Technician (Mining)

Location: East Texas, United States; work is on-site.

What you will do

• Perform routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, valves, conveyors, blowers, compressors, and other process equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and unplanned downtime by diagnosing root causes and implementing repairs.
• Read work orders, blueprints, P&IDs, schematics, engineering drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Complete maintenance records, requisition parts, and support calibration, lubrication, inspection, start-up, shutdown, and equipment change-out activities.
• Contribute to cost reduction, continuous improvement, plant reliability, housekeeping, and safe maintenance operations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in chemical processing, water treatment, mining, or manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and basic instrumentation systems.
• Experience repairing pumps, motors, valves, rotating equipment, and process equipment.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
• Experience with industrial hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, lubrication, preventive maintenance, and basic equipment rigging.
• Ability to work across shifts, communicate effectively, work with minimal supervision, and respond to occasional off-hours equipment emergencies.
