Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Kansas City, Missouri — hybrid; remote available from Missouri, Texas, Georgia, or Florida

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD, infrastructure, and deployment automation.
• Own delivery-platform components across scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Build and evolve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or ARM.
• Design and operate CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab.
• Run Docker and Kubernetes workloads and implement monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Partner with Security on DevSecOps controls, lead incident root-cause analysis, and improve production reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, cloud, or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code skills with Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or ARM.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes and modern CI/CD tooling.
• Confident scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash, with Linux and Windows administration experience.
• Experience with observability tooling and support for high-availability production environments.

Nice to have

• Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP DevOps or Solutions Architecture.
• DevSecOps, security automation, or platform-engineering experience.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or FedRAMP.
• Experience with self-service infrastructure or AI-integrated tooling.
