Client and Field Service EHS Manager

Location: Remote, USA; preference for candidates based in Texas or the West Coast. Approximately 40% travel to field sites, customer locations, and hirify.global factories across Texas, California, and Nevada.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain EHS programs covering Federal OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and Nevada OSHA requirements.
• Own field service safety programs for electrical safety, arc flash, lockout/tagout, working at height, PIT/MEWP operation, and rigging.
• Develop job hazard analyses, pre-task hazard assessments, and minimum PPE, tooling, and safety equipment standards.
• Deliver training, coach technicians and electrical engineers in the field, and maintain training records and certifications.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and injuries; maintain OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 records and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate customer-site requirements and partner with the Field Service Manager on safe scheduling, dispatch, and performance expectations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of EHS experience supporting field service, construction, or mobile/distributed workforces.
• Working knowledge of Federal OSHA 1910/1926 standards and direct experience with Cal/OSHA and/or Nevada OSHA requirements.
• Experience with electrical safety programs, including NFPA 70E and lockout/tagout, for field electrical testing and service work.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40% of the time to job sites across Texas, California, and Nevada.
• Strong communication and coaching skills for building safety engagement among distributed field personnel.

Nice to have

• CSP, ASP, or a similar safety certification.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification and NFPA 70E qualified electrical worker training.
• Experience supporting transformer, switchgear, or medium-voltage equipment testing.
• Experience building or scaling EHS programs across multiple states or regulatory jurisdictions.
