TL;DR
Senior C++ Developer (Linux/C++): Developing and refactoring software in C++ with an accent on STL, Boost, Linux tooling, design patterns, and agile SDLC practices. Focus on migration projects, algorithmic problem-solving, and building reliable software with CMake, GCC, GDB, and scripting tools.
Location: Hybrid, based in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal, three days per week

What you will do
- Develop and maintain software using C++ and the STL.
- Work with Linux development and debugging tools, including CMake, GCC, and GDB.
- Apply design patterns, data structures, and algorithms to software development.
- Contribute to migration and refactoring projects.
- Collaborate within agile software development life cycle workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Team Lead or Senior Software Developer.
- Professional experience with C++, STL, Boost, and Linux.
- Solid knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and SDLC.
- Fluent English at B2 level.
- Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model three days per week in Porto or Lisbon.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of FIX protocol or other fintech protocols.
- Comfort with Bash and Python scripting.
