Senior Equipment Engineer (Medical Technology)

Location: Hybrid arrangement with onsite work 4 days per week in Mounds View, Minnesota, or North Haven, Connecticut, United States; up to 50% travel required.

Salary: $104,800–$157,200 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Establish best-practice standards for equipment requirements, performance, reliability, and maintenance.
• Deploy the Enterprise Maintenance Excellence roadmap within the hirify.global Performance System using Total Productive Maintenance principles.
• Improve equipment uptime and resolve complex issues affecting manufacturing processes.
• Define and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Apply root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methods across equipment and maintenance initiatives.
• Partner with manufacturing, maintenance, process engineering, internal experts, and multi-site teams in a matrixed organization.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or at least 2 years of equipment or maintenance engineering experience with an advanced degree.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, reliability engineering, equipment control, or a related discipline.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for this Senior-level role.
• Degrees earned outside the United States must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
• Ability to work onsite 4 days per week and travel up to 50%.

Nice to have

• More than 4 years of direct equipment or maintenance engineering experience.
• Experience applying Total Productive Maintenance.
• CMRP or CRL certification.
• Strong team-building, communication, and leadership skills.
