Director, Product Management (Autonomous Vehicles)

Zoox develops autonomous vehicles and a mobility-as-a-service offering for dense urban environments, including driving, charging, maintenance, and fleet upgrades.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor Product Management teams spanning vehicle definition, rider experience, and service offerings.
• Develop and execute product strategy aligned with company vision, market trends, customer insights, and technology advancements.
• Translate strategy into a product roadmap and oversee the lifecycle from ideation through launch, delivery, and commercialization.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, experience, marketing, operations, Go-to-Market, Brand, and Strategy teams.
• Improve product management processes and tradecraft to support scalability, stability, reliability, safety, and continuous innovation.
• Identify opportunities to grow the business and improve customer experience while representing Zoox’s product and mission.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a senior product leader in fast-paced, product-driven technology companies.
• Experience leading product organizations that delivered innovative and commercially successful products at meaningful scale.
• Domain expertise in complex hardware-software systems, consumer electronics, connected devices, automotive, autonomous vehicles, and/or mobility.
• Experience taking products from concept to delivery, enforcing roadmap discipline, and managing release trade-offs.
• Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to influence technical and non-technical executives.
• Technical credibility with engineering teams, customer-outcome orientation, and leadership experience attracting and retaining product talent.

Nice to have

• Direct experience in mobility-as-a-service, ridesharing, or related fields.
• Experience in both startup environments and larger organizational scopes.
• Experience in rapid-growth environments and single-product portfolio leadership.
