BDIA Due Diligence Analyst

What you will do

• Conduct and maintain due diligence programs covering model providers, SMA managers, investment offerings, managed account platforms, and clearing and custody providers.
• Perform firm-level and investment management due diligence on financial services organizations and third-party vendors.
• Coordinate pre- and post-due diligence meetings with Brokerage Operations, Surveillance, Compliance, Legal, TAM, and vendor stakeholders.
• Perform suitability analysis of trade recommendations from certain model providers for discretionary managed account programs.
• Manage lists of SMA managers and mutual funds available to hirify.global financial representatives and their clients.
• Identify compliance deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and apply findings to business practices, communications, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or significantly relevant and substantial work experience.
• 3–10 years of directly related experience conducting due diligence on financial services firms.
• In-depth knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 24 certifications required, or to be obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, communication, technical, and follow-through skills.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to influence stakeholders.
