PHP Engineer - Supply Tech (all genders) (PHP)

What you will do

• Build high-traffic web applications with PHP and Laravel.
• Develop internal and external RESTful APIs and background jobs processing more than one million jobs per hour during peak periods.
• Contribute to application architecture decisions and explore relevant technologies with the Lead Engineer.
• Lead the technical conception and implementation of features supporting new business processes.
• Own features throughout their lifecycle, including production health, performance, and maintainability.
• Deploy and monitor services using GitLab CI/CD, AWS Elastic Container Service, Datadog, and Sentry.

Requirements

• Excellent coding skills in PHP 8 and Laravel.
• Experience designing and implementing end-to-end, integration, and unit tests.
• Expertise in designing, securing, and scaling RESTful APIs.
• Experience with AWS, Git, Valkey, or equivalent technologies.
• Hands-on experience with relational database design and performance optimization, such as MySQL 8.
• Ready to work in an English-speaking environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQS and ECS Fargate.
• Experience with Yii 1.1.
