Product Manager, Cloud Platform Services (AI Cloud)

Salary: $110,000–$200,000 USD base salary per year, with potential bonus, equity, and/or commission.

Nscale is building a vertically integrated GenAI cloud platform spanning data centers, software, and applications for the AI stack.

What you will do

• Own the planning and delivery of platform services covering storage, networking, and compute instances.
• Partner with platform and cloud-native engineers to deliver roadmap items through APIs, UI, CLI, and Terraform.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from problem framing through launch, measurement, and ongoing product evolution.
• Translate customer needs and market trends across AI/ML workloads, GPU scheduling, multi-tenant platforms, and enterprise operations into product requirements.
• Clarify ambiguous problems, align cloud, infrastructure, and go-to-market stakeholders, and define successful outcomes.
• Shape platform experiences with design and research while defining metrics for reliability, cluster provisioning speed, workload density, cost efficiency, and developer experience.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of product management experience in software or technology, with ownership of significant product areas.
• Hands-on experience building or shipping products on cloud platforms and strong knowledge of cloud-native services.
• Technical fluency in architecture, trade-offs, distributed systems, and multi-tenant platforms.
• Ability to turn ambiguous infrastructure or platform problems into shipped product outcomes.
• Experience mentoring or informally leading peers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across engineering, customer, and executive audiences.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, container runtimes, schedulers such as kube-scheduler or Slurm, operators, service meshes, and workload autoscaling.
• Experience with GPU scheduling, accelerated computing, or AI/ML workloads on Kubernetes.
• Background in cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, enterprise software, or AI/ML products.
• Experience in high-growth or early-stage environments.
