Senior Investment Professional – Private Corporate Strategies

Salary: $265,000–$360,000 base salary, plus discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Underwrite, originate, structure, and actively manage private corporate opportunities and special situations investments.
• Lead due diligence, build and audit financial models, assess collateral, structure covenants and intercreditor arrangements, and price risk-adjusted returns.
• Develop sourcing strategies and maintain relationships with advisors, banks, legal counsel, management teams, and other transaction stakeholders.
• Own portfolio monitoring, covenant compliance, valuation inputs, risk reporting, and exit planning in volatile or event-driven situations.
• Prepare investment memoranda, present recommendations to the Investment Committee, and ensure compliance with risk limits and conflicts policies.
• Mentor junior investors, coordinate cross-functional execution, and support fundraising, investor diligence, and LP reporting.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in private credit or special situations, including originating and leading complex private financings.
• Background in restructuring advisory, leveraged finance/high-yield capital markets, or buy-side private credit or special situations.
• Expertise in financial modeling, covenant analysis, and credit documentation, including credit agreements, intercreditor arrangements, and security packages.
• Strong Excel, presentation, negotiation, stakeholder management, and Investment Committee communication skills.
• BA/BS required; MBA or CFA preferred.
• High integrity, risk discipline, ability to work at pace in evolving circumstances, and willingness to travel.
