Portfolio Manager ECM US

Location: New York, United States

Annual base salary: $150,000–$250,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day Equity Capital Markets agenda and lead live deal engagement and market sounding procedures.
• Execute aftermarket opportunities within the ECM investment mandate.
• Build relationships with private equity sponsors, advisors, corporates, state entities, and equity syndicate desks.
• Develop the ECM investment pipeline through private company engagements.
• Position hirify.global as a top-tier ECM investor across the Americas.
• Expand participation in bilateral trades, club deals, and other bespoke ECM transactions.

Requirements

• Experienced Portfolio Manager with a hands-on, revenue-generating approach to ECM investing.
• Experience managing risk-taking responsibilities and P&L within a regional ECM investment mandate.
• Ability to expand the ECM investment strategy across the Americas, including the US, Canada, and Latin America.
• Strong understanding of fundamental analysis in ECM and general event contexts, including spin-offs, private-to-public transactions, listing migrations, and other non-M&A events.
• Ability to work within an unconstrained duration framework and develop institutional stakeholder relationships.
