LOB Risk Specialist - SOX & Internal Controls (Finance)

What you will do

• Oversee compliance and risk management activities within assigned lines of business or shared services functions.
• Support SOX, Basel, liquidity, and regulatory reporting control frameworks and related methodologies.
• Advise business management on risk and control effectiveness as the primary line-of-business contact.
• Perform second-line review, challenge, governance, certifications, consultation, and control framework activities.
• Communicate issues to management and governance committees, track them in eGRC Archer, and support timely remediation.
• Contribute to monthly and quarterly risk processes, reporting, control initiatives, and ad hoc requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of risk management programs, internal controls, operational risk, process management, and standard operating procedures.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, critical thinking, decision-making, reporting, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Must work in-office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
