Senior SAP MDG Consultant

Location: Remote from Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Georgia, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Albania, Montenegro, or Spain

What you will do

• Lead the implementation and enhancement of SAP Master Data Governance solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs and SAP MDG configurations.
• Configure data models, change requests, workflows, BRF+, validation rules, duplicate checks, and data replication.
• Design governance processes for Customer, Vendor, and Business Partner master data, including ownership and stewardship models.
• Support profiling, cleansing, enrichment, standardization, deduplication, migration, conversion, testing, cutover, hypercare, and production support.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops, collaborate with SAP and external-system integration teams, and mentor junior consultants.

Requirements

• Mandatory SAP Certified Associate – Master Data Governance (SAP MDG) certification.
• 7+ years of SAP consulting experience, including at least 4 years focused on SAP MDG.
• Experience delivering multiple end-to-end SAP MDG implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in Customer Master, Vendor Master, and Business Partner governance, plus SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA master data architecture.
• Experience with SAP MDG data models, workflows, BRF+, DRF, validation, duplicate checks, data quality, migration, and SAP/non-SAP integrations.
• English B2+ and experience with international implementation projects are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation projects and SAP Information Steward or similar data quality solutions.
• Knowledge of IDoc, BAPI, RFC, OData APIs, and web services.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Energy, Utilities, or Life Sciences.
