Software Cloud Engineer I (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid in Galway, County Galway, Ireland

Salary: €44,240–€66,360 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Build and support platforms that make critical medical device data accessible to clinicians, health systems, and external partners.
• Develop data export and data access capabilities using industry-standard XML and HL7 formats.
• Design and develop cloud-based services, APIs, data pipelines, and microservices.
• Contribute to scalable, high-performance, reliable, secure, and near-real-time data delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams.
• Participate in an on-call rotation after training and onboarding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 0–2 years of relevant hands-on experience, including internships, co-ops, academic projects, or similar work.
• Foundational knowledge of .NET development.
• Exposure to public cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Strong interest in software development and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, Git, or JFrog.
• Exposure to Kubernetes or containerized application development.
• Exposure to Kafka or similar streaming technologies.
• Exposure to ELK, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, or other monitoring and observability tools.
