Staff Engineer / Technical Lead Azure/.NET

What you will do

• Own the architecture and technical direction of critical .NET and Azure services.
• Design and implement scalable, cloud-native backend solutions across .NET and PHP-based e-commerce systems.
• Lead technical investigations, proof of concepts, modernization, and refactoring initiatives.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, DevOps, QA, Product, and external teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching.
• Drive testing, security, observability, incident support, engineering standards, documentation, and AI-assisted development practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional backend development experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET Core, .NET, Entity Framework Core, REST APIs, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Strong experience designing scalable, resilient distributed systems and cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, API-first design, and Azure services such as Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, App Services, Key Vault, and Application Insights.
• Experience with secure and cost-optimized cloud architectures, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, networking, identity and access management, application security, and observability.
• Experience with SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB, and heterogeneous integrations involving .NET, PHP, SAP, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Proven mentoring and technical leadership experience, plus excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf.
• Strong knowledge of clean architecture and domain-driven design.
• Experience integrating SAP or comparable enterprise platforms.
