QA Engineer (AI Robotics): Building and validating quality processes for an AI robotics platform spanning hardware and software with an accent on test strategy, automation, and release criteria. Location: Stuttgart, Germany; hybrid work with the option to work from home when needed.

What you will do
- Define and manage the overall testing strategy, quality gates, release criteria, and quality metrics.
- Own QA processes across hardware and software throughout the development lifecycle.
- Design test plans, test cases, and automated tests for new and existing functionality.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of robotic systems.
- Build scalable validation and regression frameworks and identify gaps in test coverage.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to reproduce, isolate, and resolve defects, while improving CI/CD test integration.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience in QA engineering or software testing.
- Experience owning testing strategies and QA processes, preferably in a product-focused environment.
- Strong proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks such as pytest, Robot Framework, or Selenium.
- Proficiency in Python, plus working knowledge of Docker, Linux, and command-line debugging tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Fluent English required; German is a strong plus.
Nice to have
- Experience with robotics systems, ROS, or industrial automation.
- Experience testing systems combining hardware and software.
- Familiarity with performance, load, or hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Experience in logistics or manufacturing.
- ISTQB or similar QA certification.
