Test Automation Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Develop Gherkin test cases and step definitions with Cucumber, Playwright, and TypeScript for GUI and API testing.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution across development stages.
• Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and identify defects or performance bottlenecks.
• Validate node-graph application logic, digital twin simulations, robot arm motion, manipulation, and system integration.
• Track and communicate issues, maintain test documentation and user guides, and improve test framework coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, robotics engineers, AI researchers, and product teams to support reliable and safe releases.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in test automation, system testing, validation, or verification of complex systems, preferably in robotics.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, JMeter, Cucumber for BDD, and Git.
• Basic understanding of robot arms, including kinematics, motion planning, and manipulation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in robotics, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, or a strong robotics background.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with node-graph-based development environments.
• Understanding of digital twin concepts.
