What you will do

• Create and edit short-form videos and social assets from long-form editorial and live content.
• Identify humorous, emotional, culturally relevant, and conversation-driving moments with strong social potential.
• Repurpose content into platform-native clips optimized for engagement and audience behavior.
• Add subtitles, on-screen text, motion graphics, and other platform-specific creative elements.
• Schedule and publish content across YouTube, TikTok, Meta, X, and Reddit; write titles and coordinate thumbnails.
• Track reach, engagement, watch time, retention, and other metrics, using analytics and A/B testing to improve future content.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on short-form video editing or clipping experience, or an equivalent portfolio.
• Proficiency with Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar video-editing software.
• Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, and Snapchat.
• Strong social-first editorial instincts, awareness of emerging trends, and understanding of audience engagement.
• Familiarity with the political, cultural, and editorial news landscape and hirify.global brand, voice, and talent.
• Working knowledge of platform analytics tools, excellent proofreading and written communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
