Senior DevOps Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure for business-critical applications.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and Infrastructure as Code workflows.
• Monitor production environments and resolve performance, availability, capacity, and infrastructure incidents.
• Partner with engineering and product teams on platform architecture, operational readiness, and release processes.
• Define and support service-level objectives, operational metrics, security controls, access management, encryption, and compliance practices.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, resilience, and continuous service-delivery improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven DevOps or Software Engineering experience, including 6+ years of experience in DevOps, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration, and cloud-native technologies.
• Proficiency in a high-level programming or scripting language such as Clojure, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, configuration management, Infrastructure as Code, and production monitoring.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational-prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code platforms.
• Knowledge of Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar observability and monitoring tools.
• Experience designing highly available, client-facing cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of networking, security, enterprise infrastructure standards, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, or security certifications.
