What you will do
- Build and tune antifraud rules using custom scripting and complex decision logic based on live transaction data.
- Partner with fraud, AML, and compliance teams to translate risk requirements into production-ready system logic.
- Own the full delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, task management, and production monitoring.
- Design and build API integrations for fraud and risk decisioning from scratch.
- Design new microservices and improve existing service logic and architecture.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents for fraud-related services.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a System Analyst, System Engineer, or Software Developer in fintech or banking.
- Hands-on experience with code development or low-code/automation platforms.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, system integration patterns, and API design.
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
- Familiarity with GitLab or GitOps workflows.
- English: B2 or higher required.
- Must be able to work during core collaboration hours: 12:00 to 19:00 Manila time (UTC+8).
