Medical Director, Clinical Development, Genetics Medicine, MASH (Genetics Medicine)

Location: Tarrytown, New York, United States; on-site four days per week. Travel: 10% to relevant conferences and congresses.

Salary: $284,900–$385,700 annually.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams in developing clinical strategy for genetic medicine programs from First in Human through Phase 3.
• Partner with discovery and translational scientists to assess genetic targets across MASH, metabolism, rare diseases, and other therapeutic areas.
• Author and finalize protocols, amendments, monitoring plans, statistical analysis plans, and regulatory submissions.
• Evaluate therapeutic benefits and risks to support program decisions.
• Oversee trial execution, adverse event review, patient health monitoring, and data quality.
• Represent clinical science in regulatory agency communications and meetings while ensuring compliance with FDA, EMA, ICH, and GCP guidelines.

Requirements

• M.D. degree required.
• Board certification or eligibility in a relevant therapeutic area; Hepatology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, or Nephrology is preferred.
• 2–3+ years of clinical practice or industry experience preferred.
• Track record of success in clinical or scientific research settings.
• Availability to work on-site in Tarrytown, New York four days per week.

Nice to have

• M.D./Ph.D. degree or prior research experience.
