Cloud Platform Engineer (Cloud)

Location: Full-time, in-office position based at the NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan, New York, United States.

Salary: $120,000–$170,000 USD per year base pay range for New York State, including New York City.

What you will do

• Evaluate enterprise cloud platforms and services for security, scalability, cost, and enterprise fit.
• Maintain an approved catalogue of cloud platforms, usage patterns, documentation, and architectural guidance.
• Support development teams with proofs of concept and transition successful cloud-enabled workflows into production.
• Coordinate platform architecture decisions with Security, Operations, Infrastructure, Development, and Legal stakeholders.
• Define guardrails for data handling, access control, logging, auditing, quotas, usage limits, and cost reporting.
• Educate teams on cloud capabilities, limitations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud-native systems, cloud platforms, and infrastructure architecture.
• Experience with Git, Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, or modern platform engineering practices.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-native systems and integrating APIs and services into production environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security fundamentals.

• Games industry experience.
• Understanding of governance and platform risk assessment.
