Freelance Content Creator to the CEO

Location: New York City area, United States; hybrid remote and in-person, with regular in-person work and 30–50% travel required

Salary: $38–$48 per hour, depending on experience, portfolio, skills, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Partner with the CEO to create authentic content that strengthens personal branding and thought leadership.
• Capture meetings, travel, speaking engagements, customer visits, and behind-the-scenes experiences for social content.
• Write posts, captions, scripts, and executive thought leadership content in the CEO’s voice.
• Film, edit, publish, and repurpose short- and long-form content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and other platforms.
• Build an editorial calendar, identify content opportunities, and develop creative concepts independently.
• Monitor performance, track audience engagement and growth, and recommend content adjustments.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience creating digital and social media content.
• Experience producing content from concept to publication, including writing, filming, editing, and publishing.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality video, photography, and social media content; portfolio required.
• Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills, including the ability to capture an executive’s voice.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Descript, Canva, or similar tools.
• Based in the New York City area, able to work in person regularly, travel 30–50%, and occasionally work evenings and weekends.
