Security Team Lead (MSP)

What you will do

• Provide hands-on technical direction and support to Security Analysts during incidents and investigations.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex security incidents and high-risk situations.
• Drive HIPAA, SOC 2, cyber insurance, and related compliance initiatives, including audits, documentation, evidence gathering, and remediation tracking.
• Conduct security assessments, risk reviews, and client consultations focused on improving security posture.
• Own and optimize Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, Huntress, email security, vulnerability management, and related platforms.
• Perform root cause analysis, improve security processes and documentation, collaborate with Account Managers and leadership, and mentor Security Analysts.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in an MSP, MSSP, healthcare, regulated industry, or similar environment.
• Direct experience supporting HIPAA, SOC 2, cyber insurance, or similar compliance programs.
• Strong technical depth in Microsoft security technologies, identity management, endpoint security, and incident response.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and security reviews, with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining security and compliance concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness and ability to work full-time onsite at the Lakewood office.
