Principal Scientist - Modeling & Simulation

What you will do

• Build pharmacostatistical models for population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic and exposure-response analyses.
• Apply categorical and binary data analysis, time-to-event and Poisson models, MCMC, and Bayesian methods.
• Perform meta-analyses using proprietary and published data.
• Provide scientific input on dose selection and early- and late-stage study design.
• Contribute to clinical pharmacology strategies and project plans across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Prepare modeling reports and support regulatory submission documents.

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with relevant postdoctoral training and 2 years of pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic or statistical modeling experience; or a master’s degree with 5 years of experience; or a bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience.
• Experience in pharmacometric analyses and/or applied biostatistics for small molecules or biologics.
• Proficiency with modeling software such as NONMEM, SAS, R/S-Plus, STAN, or MATLAB.
• Role based at the U.S. headquarters in Thousand Oaks, California.
