What you will do

• Lead process and equipment design for a strategic capital project in drug product manufacturing or packaging.
• Drive design decisions, equipment specifications, design accuracy, risk assessments, and fallback strategies.
• Plan and conduct high-impact engineering projects while managing cost, scope, schedule, and financial targets.
• Develop execution and procurement strategies aligned with business, customer, and cGMP requirements.
• Prepare facility, equipment, and utilities documentation and present it during regulatory agency audits.
• Oversee internal and external design work, solve complex interdisciplinary problems, and coordinate with engineering task forces and project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
• 6+ years of significant engineering or operational experience desired.
• Demonstrated competency and strong technical knowledge within an engineering discipline.
• Experience analyzing complex problems, assessing design risks, and making decisions within defined procedures.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Competence with financial systems and fiscal control; experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or biologics is preferred.
