Associate Asset Manager - Midland (Commercial Real Estate)

What you will do

• Oversee limited portfolios and routine borrower requests for securitized commercial real estate loans.
• Review financial statements, loan covenants, market data, and economic data to assess economic and compliance impacts.
• Monitor and report on watch list assets and assess property inspections for escalation decisions.
• Determine equity risk categories and maintain collateral-related information and reporting.
• Respond to inquiries from borrowers, rating agencies, special servicers, investors, legal counsel, and other external parties.
• Collaborate with internal business partners on cross-departmental decisions and provide analytical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Less than one year of professional experience or successful completion of a formal development program.
• Working knowledge of commercial real estate, industry terminology, and real estate capital markets.
• Strong financial accounting, financial statement analysis, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication, multitasking, attention to detail, and collaboration abilities.
