Location: Hybrid, with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office in Leeds, Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester, or London, United Kingdom

Salary: £48,987–£56,000 per annum outside London; £57,150–£66,000 per annum in London

What you will do

• Support the secure design, implementation, and adoption of AI systems and applications.
• Embed security controls into AI solutions and help engineering teams apply them effectively.
• Support the safe adoption of AI across the organisation and assess attacker use and exploitation of AI.
• Apply AI to enhance security capabilities and contribute to the Group’s AI security posture.
• Implement, validate, and test security controls within applications and platforms.
• Translate security requirements into actionable guidance for technical and non-technical partners.

Requirements

• Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in cyber security or technology risk, with exposure to AI, data, or cloud-based environments.
• Understanding of identity and access management, secure application design, and data protection.
• Awareness of public cloud security concepts and tooling.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts, generative AI use cases, and security frameworks or regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, or UK GDPR.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and task-management skills.
