Base pay range listed for Colorado applicants: $123,714.00β$173,199.60 annually; ranges may differ by site.

What you will do
- Develop controls architectures covering network topology, I/O distribution, safety systems, and communication protocols.
- Design and integrate bespoke industrial automation and electrical control systems.
- Develop offline simulations to validate control logic, robot paths, cycle times, and system behavior.
- Debug and commission PLC, HMI, robot, and related industrial controls programs.
- Integrate auxiliary equipment, machines, and tools into unified control systems.
- Support factory and site acceptance testing, installation, commissioning, start-up, and production ramp-up.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree or higher in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, controls, or a related engineering field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing or integrating industrial controls and automation systems, including PLC and HMI programming.
- Exposure to industrial automation platforms such as robots, material handling systems, CNC integration, NDT, assembly, testing, or process tools.
- Ability to interpret and review electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Experience designing industrial safety systems with functional safety devices, safety PLCs, and safety-rated circuits.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of IEC 61131, ANSI B11, NFPA 79, RIA R15.06, IEC 62061, or ISO 13849.
- Experience with industrial automation simulation or virtual commissioning tools such as Plant Simulate, Process Simulate, Visual Components, KUKA.Sim, or RobotStudio.
- Experience with machine vision systems such as Cognex, electrical control panels, and industrial electrical CAD tools.
- Experience delivering custom automated manufacturing systems from concept through production ramp-up.
