Junior Data Engineer - ETL Development

Location: Smithfield, Rhode Island, United States — day-one onsite with a hybrid work arrangement. Bridgewater, New Jersey is also listed in the job conditions.

What you will do

• Analyze Informatica workflows, mappings, and data transformations for modernization initiatives.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Build and enhance batch-processing solutions with Java Spring Batch.
• Support migration of legacy data workflows to modern cloud-based architectures.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation to maintain data quality.
• Collaborate with business, data, and engineering teams and support testing, deployment, and production operations.

Requirements

• Experience with ETL development and migration, preferably using Informatica.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot skills.
• Experience developing Python-based ETL solutions.
• Ability to work onsite on the first day in Smithfield, Rhode Island, followed by a hybrid arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java Spring Batch.
• Experience analyzing legacy ETL workflows.
