Senior Development Support Engineer (C/C++/C#/Rust)

Location: Cypress, California, United States. Applicants must be currently and legally authorized to reside and work in the United States. Immigration sponsorship is not available, and international relocation or remote work outside the United States will not be considered.

Salary: $91,000–$110,000 base annually in California.

What you will do

• Provide second-level technical support for Mercury and hirify.global products.
• Assist developers and partners with API integrations and implementation.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, HTTPS, and serial communication issues.
• Reproduce customer-reported problems, identify root causes, and document defects for engineering review.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve product and integration issues.
• Educate partners through technical guidance, workshops, training sessions, and product demonstrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Programming experience with C/C++, C#, and/or Rust.
• Experience with HTTP, HTML, RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, MQTT, TCP/IP, TCP, UDP, and HTTPS.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in Linux and Windows environments, including use of Wireshark, Postman, and curl.
• Knowledge of RS-232, RS-485, SSL/TLS certificates, and technical documentation practices.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.

• Experience with physical access control products, Mercury controllers, and hirify.global technologies.
• Experience with Jira, security systems integration, and deployment best practices.
• Prior customer-facing technical support or development support experience.
