Sr. Cloud Threat Hunter - AWS (Remote)

Location: USA - Remote

Salary: $115,000–$160,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses and equity grants.

What you will do

• Use the Falcon platform and threat intelligence to analyze cloud logs and identify active and historical threats.
• Review cloud security configurations, identities, control planes, and AWS architecture for anomalies and unauthorized-access risks.
• Develop queries, modular scripts, and tools to correlate large volumes of data and identify threat indicators.
• Conduct cloud threat hunting for complex organizations and provide recommendations to reduce adversary opportunities.
• Manage client project lifecycles, including communication, status updates, task assignment, and delivery.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings for customers, regulators, legal counsel, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on threat-hunting experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS logging, identity, networking, workload security, data security, and multi-account management.
• Understanding of cloud adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures, including attack-path chaining and threat-intelligence enrichment.
• Knowledge of AWS security architecture, log-management architecture, automation patterns, and CI/CD pipeline security.
• Ability to write modular scripts and software tools in Python or Go for AWS services and Falcon APIs.
• Ability to communicate technical findings in plain English and produce high-quality technical reports and presentations.
