Quality Control Manager

Location: New Brighton, Minnesota, United States; US citizenship required.

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year.

Industrial surface treatment technology operations providing metal finishing, liquid coatings, and shot peening services within Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies.

What you will do

• Oversee quality and EHS functions and supervise Quality staff within a NADCAP QMS environment.
• Complete monthly internal audits and host customer and regulatory audits.
• Develop and approve process and inspection plans based on customer and industry requirements.
• Review contractual requirements, specifications, drawings, and customer correspondence.
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance and maintain site training requirements and records.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective action for discrepant products and identify potential project quality issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Required experience with AS9100 and NADCAP, including internal and external audits.
• Ability to manage and develop a quality management system.
• Ability to manage a team of three or more, delegate responsibilities, and collaborate with management.
• Must be a US citizen.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of chemical processing experience.
• Experience with the NADCAP accreditation process and auditing.
• Background in metal finishing or coating manufacturing.
