Hub Lead (Robotics)

Location: Groningen, Netherlands; onsite five days a week. The role involves regular work at construction sites and at the Amsterdam facility.

hirify.global develops robotics and software to automate on-site construction and build bespoke structures with less manual labour. The company is an early-stage, venture-backed hard-tech business building hardware and software in-house.

What you will do

• Stand up and run the first hub outside headquarters in the north of the Netherlands, beginning with the company’s largest deployment to date.
• Plan deployment logistics, including robot and staffing levels, subcontractor coordination, schedules, and operational execution.
• Lead teams on construction sites, manage and motivate operators, and represent hirify.global with general contractors and other stakeholders.
• Build operational systems, identify inefficiencies, improve processes, and increase deployment margins.
• Own deployment P&L, model scenarios, and propose improvements to unit economics.
• Support existing customer relationships, develop new construction projects, and help hire additional robot and deployment operators.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of management experience as a startup founder, GM, or in operations, strategy, business development, or a similar area.
• Native Dutch speaker required due to the local nature of the construction industry.
• Experience managing, leading, and motivating a small team.
• Strong operational, analytical, and project management skills, including the ability to create operational plans and present P&L scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with construction crews, senior contractor leaders, and engineers.
• Willingness to work hands-on in a high-stress construction environment, with a strong bias toward action and execution.
