Quality Technician (3rd Shift)

Location: Watertown, Wisconsin, United States of America; onsite, 3rd shift

Salary: $40,390–$59,235 per year, plus discretionary bonuses

What you will do

• Test raw materials, production batches, in-process samples, and finished goods; record and evaluate results.
• Calculate and recommend product adjustments to meet quality specifications and ensure production follows Bill of Materials requirements.
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and inventory.
• Prepare and review Certificates of Analysis and conduct internal and finished-goods audits.
• Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance, Statistical Process Control, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with R&D and Regulatory teams on product improvements, new materials, process changes, and non-conformance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• 1–2 years of quality control or laboratory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and analytical chemistry techniques.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation and calibration.
• Strong organization, multitasking, communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 45 lbs.
